Aldrich is the founder of Atcoustic. Aldrich has first gained recognition locally after emerging Champion in a talentime singing competition back in 2003. Since then Aldrich has won numerous awards in singing competitions, such as clinching 1st runner-up at a nation-wide talent competition, the CLAP Idol 2012 (Community Life Arts Programme). Aside from competitions, Aldrich was a lead vocalist in the album Light of the City and has been invited to perform at various events at Jewel Box’s “Garden in the Sky” Valentine’s Day Special, Timbre@Gillman, Five Tapas Bar, Ben and Jerry @ Dempsey hill, NTU School of Biological Science Dinner & Dance, Resort World Sentosa, Chijmes and many more.
Other than singing, Aldrich has garnered recognition in songwriting; winning various songwriting competitions such as 1st runner up for Road Safety Songwriting (2002), 1st runner up for NDP Songwriting (2005), 1st runner up for Impresario Original Composition (2010); as well as producing music for companies such as Asia-Europe Foundation (2012), The Singing Loft (2013) and LINK Greenleaf Pte Ltd Album (2013). Aldrich is a certified Music Producer under the guidance of Lee Wei Song, who is one of the region’s most renown producer.
Aldrich released his debut album ‘Rich’ in 2016, dedicating 20% of the album profits to community works. His music has been featured in The Straits Times (2014) for his musical performance as well as in Power 98fm (2016), City Radio (2016) and Channel News Asia (2017) for his album.
